Spiced Peach Tart

The first back-to-school ads ushered in the awful truth: Summer's going to end someday. And when it does, so does the season for all those lovely fruits you've just gotten to know again. These recipes give you five more reasons to revel in summer and surround yourself with the ones you love: peaches, raspberries, plums, strawberries and blueberries.

PEACHES
Vibrantly colored Spiced Peach Tart starts with a shortbread-style crust, adds a sprinkling of ground almonds and finishes with peaches tossed with sugar, cardamom, cinnamon and nutmeg.

RASPBERRIES
Raspberries are pureed and woven into Raspberry-Swirl Angel Cake with Crème Fraîche to give it beautiful twirls of red, with some of the mix being reserved for serving alongside the cake and creamy garnish.
